Dorothy Puckett Brown-Dailey

Dorothy Puckett Brown Dailey, age 94, of Manor passed away Friday, February 9, 2018.

Dorothy was born September 27, 1923 in Runnels County, Texas to Carl Puckett and Mary (Tindle) Puckett.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Elwood Brown and husband Milton Dailey, and three sisters; Nell Calhoun, JoAnn Meredith and Lila Mae Wood.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Lanell Brown and Linda Leatherwood and husband Dale, grandchildren Clayton Leatherwood, Eileen Dahl and Jon Dahl, great grandchildren Garrett Dahl, Jacob Dahl, Avery Dahl, Caitlyn Leatherwood, Caleb Leatherwood, Colton Leatherwood. She is also survived by one sister Mary Puckett and three brothers; Carlton Puckett, Max Puckett, and Clyde Puckett, her extended Brown and Dailey families as well as her church family.

A special thanks to Sally Avery, David Lisenby, Mary Puckett and Texas Home Health for the care they provided Dorothy.

Serving as Pallbearers; Jon Dahl, Carl Brown, Clyde Noble, Ronnie Calhoun, Jay Puckett, Eric Puckett. Honorary Pallbearers will be Clayton Leatherwood, Eileen Dahl, Garrett Dahl, Jacob Dahl, Avery Dahl, Caitlyn Leatherwood, Caleb Leatherwood, and Colton Leatherwood.

A visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Monday, February 12, 2018, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. A Celebration of Dorothy's Life will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 13, 2018, Providence-Jones Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at the Jones Cemetery near Hornsby Bend, TX.
