Wesley Paul Kilburn

Wesley Paul Kilburn, age 85, of Elgin, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018.

Wesley was born to William and Ruby Kilburn on January 12, 1933 in Austin, TX. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Wesley worked for Applied Research Lab with UT Austin. He loved guns and was a lifelong NRA member.

He is preceded in death by both his parents, his wife Melba Kilburn, and son Karl Kilburn.

Wesley is survived by two children; Weldon Kilburn and Lanora Kilburn, his two grandchildren, Phillip Kilburn and Jennifer Kilburn. He is also survived by his siblings; Drew Kilburn, Steve Kilburn and Lavida Azar.

A visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, January 19, 2018, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. A Celebration of Wesley's Life will be held graveside, 2:00PM Saturday, January 20, 2018, Rhodes Cemetery, 8912 Schick Rd, Austin, TX 78729.
