Virgle James Branton

Virgle James Branton, age 76, of McDade, Texas, passed away at his home on Monday, August 22, 2022.

Virgle was born on December 28, 1945 in Smithville, Texas to Dell Marrs and Fannie Maude (Raby) Branton. He graduated from Cuero High School in 1964. On March 3, 1979, he married Flora Jaramillo. Virgle loved fishing, hunting, watching football and baseball, and spoiling his “Princess Girl,” Trinity.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Virgle is survived by his wife, Flora Branton, his three sons, James Branton and wife, Lynn, Mark Branton and wife, Tracy, and Aaron Branton and wife, Krystal, his grandchildren, Matthew, Donaven, Darren, Braden, Trinity, and Gage Branton, Kaitlyn Shelton, and Kimberly and Kyle Hodge, along with numerous great grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home.
