Victor Chapa, age 63, of Austin Texas, was called home by our heavenly Father on Thursday, June 15, 2017 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born in Taylor, Texas on September 27, 1953 to Victor Chapa and Maria Delgado.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Brother Maxino Alcala and Sister’s Elosie Martinez and Mary Helen Chapa Brown.
Victor is survived by his four sons; Victor (Danielle) Chapa of Kyle, TX, Vincent (Rosemary) Chapa of Austin, TX, Frank (Geneva Ortiz) Chapa of Austin, TX, and Michael Chapa of Austin, TX. Brother’s Henry Chapa Sr., and Andrew Alcala, and sister Jolanda (Arnulfo) Zapata of Austin, TX. He is also survived by his Ten Grandchildren; Jaclyn (Monica) Chavez, Victor Daniel, Vincent Victor, Angelica Rose, Samantha Elize, Leyla Cyan, Aliyah Jade, Mia Felissa, Ava Danielle, and Madison Faith. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 21, 2017 Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 P.M. A Funeral Mass officiated by Father George Joseph will be held at 10:00 A.M Thursday, June 22, 2017 Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment to follow at the Elgin Latin Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Victor Chapa, Frank Chapa, Michael Chapa, Vincent Chapa Victor D. Chapa, Vincent V. Chapa, Martin Lofton and Keith Brown. Honorary Pallbearers: Henry Chapa Sr., Eugene Perez, and all his Granddaughters.
