Vicki Lynn (Cloud) Burch, 64, of Bastrop, Texas gained her angel wings on September 18, 2018. She passed peacefully at home after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
Vicki was born in Comanche, Texas on May 17, 1954. She was employed at Motorola, LCRA, and most recently, Bluebonnet Electric Coop where she was loved and admired by all who knew her. She worked as a Meter Reader, then promoted to Line Design Tech. Vicki retired in January of 2017, but had recently gone back to work for Bluebonnet part-time before receiving the devastating news of her inoperable pancreatic cancer.
She was a very honest, loving, caring person with a great sense of humor. She was also a little feisty and even a little ornery at times, but she had a heart of gold. She loved all animals but held a special place in her heart for dogs. She adopted and fostered many dogs herself, and also spent many hours daily networking with rescues to find homes and fosters for as many dogs as she could. Her wish was to become a greeter at the Rainbow Bridge so she could welcome all the dogs to Heaven
Vicki is survived by her daughter, RaeLyn and husband Jim Beier; her granddaughters Raina Lee and Julee Rene'; her sisters Barbara Barnes, Sheila and husband Frank Hogan; brother-in-law Bill Nippes as well as numerous nieces and nephews...and of course all of her fur babies.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Burch; daughter Rayna Lynn Ann Burch; parents Effie Lee and Perry Farley; sister Peggy Nippes; brother Jerry Cloud; and brother-in-law Bud Barnes.
