Vicente Hernandez

Vicente Hernandez, age 59, of Elgin, Texas passed away on March 20, 2021.

Vicente was born in Guerrero, Mexico on July 19, 1961 to Alfonso and Julia Hernandez. He was married to Maria Reyna Vega. Vicente enjoyed working on cars, going to church, and reading his Bible. He was the best dad and grandpa.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Samuel Hernandez.

Vicente is survived by his wife, Maria, his two daughters, Lucero Hernandez and Yasmine Perez, son-in-law, Candelario Morales, and five grandchildren.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm to 8:00pm, Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM. A Celebration of Mass Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Elgin Latin Cemetery.
