Suzanne H. Feay

Suzanne Helen (Lehman) Feay, 70, of Lexington, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2017.

Suzanne was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to William and Mary Lehman on October 18, 1946.  She graduated from Lancaster Catholic High School in 1964. After high school, she graduated from St. Joseph School of Nursing in 1967 and then obtained an associate degree in gerontology at Millersville University. Throughout her career, Suzanne worked as the Director of Quality Improvement for several major healthcare providers and insurance companies.  She held her CHQP (Certified Healthcare Quality Practitioner). Upon retirement, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, and playing cards.

Suzanne is survived by her husband of 25 years, Thomas; two children: Jennifer Swift Shaull and Andrew Swift; three step-children: Yvette Feay-Cazier, James Feay, and Nicole Feay; five grandchildren: Reyna Feay, Taylor Feay, Kyle Shaull, Mason Swift, and Daxton Cazier; and her sister Mary (Lehman) Campbell.   Her parents, William and Mary (Henkel) Lehman, preceded her in death.

The family wishes to acknowledge her best friends Benita Hentges and Lorraine Ruhling who provided love, care and support throughout her illness.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to Texas Oncology Foundation, 12221 Merit Drive, Suite 500, Dallas, Texas 75251.

Service will be private.
