Steve M Banda

Steve Banda passed away February 5, 2023, after a brief, but fierce battle with pancreatic cancer.

In all of his 65 years, Steve never met a stranger and was always quick to flash his infectious smile that could light up a room. He had an unquenchable love for the Lord and knew it was his life's purpose to spread that love to everyone he met.

Steve was blessed to be married to the love of his life, Deana, for over 40 years. He was endlessly proud of their three children: Nathanael, Brandon, and Rebekah and their three grandchildren: Ari, Danny, and Miles, with whom he cherished spending time with.

Steve had an extraordinary way of making everyone he met feel like family and was always the first one to jump in to help whenever he saw a need.

Whether you called him Steve, Pappy, brother, uncle, pastor, or friend, he made sure you felt his love every time you met. He leaves behind countless numbers of family and friends whose lives are exponentially better having known him.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 1:00 PM at the Family Worship Center in Elgin.
