Servando Trevino Alanis

Servando Alanis, 42, departed this life on August 11, 2021.

He was born February 12, 1979, to Roberto and Ofelia Alanis in Los Aldamas, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

Servando earned his Associate’s degree, and worked in machinery technology. He enjoyed golfing and loved playing the accordion. He was a simple man, and he had a great love for music.

Servando is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years, Griselda Alanis; and two children, Naomi Alanis and Servando Alanis, Jr.

A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday, August 17, at the Providence-Jones Funeral Home in Elgin, Texas. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 7:00 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held to celebrate Servando’s life at 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elgin, Texas. Burial will follow at the Elgin Latin Cemetery.
