Rochelle Yvonne Griffin, 57, of Taylor, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Friday, May 20th, 2022.
Rochelle was born on December 9th, 1964, to Charlie and Lula Griffin in Taylor, Texas where she grew up with her twin sister and siblings.
In the fall of 1981, Rochelle gave birth to a healthy baby boy named Fredrick O’Brien Griffin. After graduating high school in 1983, she began her career at S.P.J.S.T. Rest Home where she would remain for 40 years. She also worked at Intercraft for 20 years until the company closed and then moved on to join Wal-Mart. When she was not working, she would spend her free time going to play Bingo and loved to cook for her family. A couple of desserts she was very well known for was her Millionaire pie and banana pudding, there was never a family gathering without them and who could forget her sweet dressing for Thanksgiving. Above all, Rochelle treasured her family, friends, and the Lord.
Rochelle was a loving mother, sister, and friend. She was a caring woman who would always be there if you needed anything and would never ask for anything in return. In the end, she fought a hard battle and stayed true to her faith.
