Roberto Galindo

Roberto Galindo, aged 62, who peacefully passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023, in Elgin.

He was born October 12, 1961 to Ernesto Galindo Sr. and Esperanza Galindo in Little Rock, Arkansas.

A passionate soul, Robert found joy in strumming his guitar, expressing his voice through song, cooking in the kitchen. His artistic spirit extended to crafting beautiful bracelets and jewelry, reflecting his creative talents.

Beyond his artistic pursuits, Robert cherished the moments spent with his wife and stepchildren. His love and warmth will forever be remembered by those fortunate enough to share in his presence.

He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Julie Goodman, brother David Galindo and sister Maria Luisa Flores.

He is survived by his wife Anna Linda Goodman, children; Gloria Galindo, Roberto Galindo Jr., Juan Galindo, Britany Flores, Matthew Southwell, and Danny Goodman.  Roberto also leaves behind his brothers Ernest Galindo and Rudy Galindo and 7 grandchildren.

A visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, November 17, 2023, Providence-Jones Funeral Home. A celebration of Robert’s Life will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 18, 2023, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Elgin Latin Cemetery.
