Richard Torres

Richard Torres, age 59, of Taylor, Texas, passed away on August 17, 2024, in Round Rock, Texas. He was born on April 3, 1965, to Alfredo and Beatrice Torres.

Richard was a devoted husband, father, and friend who touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He married the love of his life, Julia Ann Torres, with whom he shared many wonderful years. Together, they raised a son, Richard Daniel Torres.

Professionally, Richard worked as a mixer driver, a job he took great pride in. Outside of work, Richard had a passion for attending concerts, cheering on his beloved 49ers football team, fishing, and spending quality time with his family and friends.

Richard is survived by his wife, Julia Torres, his son, Richard Daniel Torres, and many other cherished family members and friends. He is predeceased by his mother, Beatrice Torres.

Richard’s presence in our lives will be deeply missed, but his spirit and the joy he brought to those around him will be remembered forever.

A viewing will be held 9:00-10:15AM Friday, August 23, 2024, with the Rosary starting 10:30AM, followed by Mass beginning at 11:00AM located at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 111 W Rio Grande St, Taylor, TX 76574.
