Raul Ruiz, Jr.

Our beloved Raul Ruiz, Jr. went home to heaven on October 05, 2021, at the young age of 54.

Raul “Fatty” Ruiz was born to Raul Ruiz, Sr. and Susie Leverett on August 12, 1967, in Austin, Texas.

Raul was preceded in death by his daughter, Stephanie Torres; his father, Raul Ruiz Sr; his brothers, Gary Saenz and Chester Leverett, Jr.; and his grandmother, Frances G Martinez.

Raul is survived by mother, Susie Leverett; his children, Ashley, Chris, and Amber and his beloved grandchildren; his sisters, Elsa and husband, Danny DeLuna, Hope Munoz, Jeanette Martinez, Delia and husband, Eugene Hernandez, and Rebecca Leverett; his brother, Oscar Ruiz; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Raul had a huge, giving heart and was always willing to stop what he was doing to help family and friends.  He had an infectious smile and always knew how to make you laugh.  He had a 15-year work history in the moving industry and enjoyed doing mechanic work and landscaping. Raul loved watching his Dallas Cowboys on Sundays with family and will be dearly missed.

A Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 12:00 to 6:00 PM at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks in Pflugerville. A meal will follow the service at 18301 Weiss Ln., Pflugerville, Texas 78660.
