Raul Rodriguez Sr.

Raul Rodriguez Sr., age 62, of Austin, Texas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 11, 2024. Born on March 3, 1962, in Laredo, Texas, Raul was the beloved son of Cirilo Rodriguez and Zulema Ramos.

Raul was a dedicated roofer by trade, known for his hard work and craftsmanship. Outside of his professional life, he was a vibrant individual who embraced life with enthusiasm and joy. His hobbies included traveling, listening to music, dancing, and, most importantly, spending cherished moments with his grandchildren. Raul had a natural talent for bringing people together and was often the life of the party.

He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Rodriguez, and his six children: Maria Elena Ramirez, Norma Elizabeth Cruz, Angel Cruz, Ana Laura Rodriguez, Raul Rodriguez Jr., and Erick Rodriguez. Raul also leaves behind a legacy of love through his grandchildren, who were a source of immense joy and pride for him.

Raul Rodriguez Sr. will be deeply missed by all who knew him may he rest in peace and live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

A Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00PM Monday, August 19, 2024, with the Rosary starting 7:00PM, at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home Chapel, 604 HWY 95 N, Elgin Texas 78621.

The Service will begin 10AM Tuesday August 20, 2024, at Sacred heart Catholic Church, 302 W 11th St, Elgin, Texas 78621. Following the service he will be laid to rest at Elgin Latin Cemetery.
