Myra G. Ramirez found peace on April 6th, 2023, at the age of 62.
Myra was born on May 30th, 1960, to Ernestina B. and Francisco G. Garza in Beeville, Texas.
In 1977, she met the Love of Her Life, Ricardo Mateo Ramirez Jr. and wed in 1978.
Richard and Myra were eternally married and sealed with their family at the Dallas Texas Temple on July 28th, 1990. She raised four sons in Bastrop, Texas and supported them through school, sports, church missions, college, careers, and marriage. All four sons graduated high school, attended college, and serviced full-time missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Missions expanded from Washington, Idaho, California, and Dominican Republic.
Myra had many hobbies that kept her happy, but her love was vacationing. She was able to travel most of the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii, including many of the biggest National Parks. She also traveled to Mexico, Caribbean Islands, New Zealand, and Australia.
Management level was one of Myra’s highest achievements, working for over 20 years in Retail Business. Among other achievements, she established her own small business as a self-entrepreneur in confectionery art decorating by starting a business named “Cake Me.”
She is survived by her husband of 44 years of marriage and four sons: Ricardo Mateo Ramirez III, Robert Xavier Ramirez, Russell Levi Ramirez, and Ryan Antonio Ramirez, and eight grandchildren.
The Ramirez’s Family is inviting Myra’s immediate family members to join them for a memorial service at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints located at 140 Tahitian Dr., Bastrop, Texas, 78602, on Saturday, April 29th,2023 at 11:00. Her ashes will be placed to rest at Fairview Cemetery in Bastrop, Texas at a future Date. Also, to be announced at a later date.
