Michael Edward Torres

Michael Edward Torres age 54 of Georgetown, TX passed away April 11, 2024 .

Michael was born July 24, 1969 to Carlos Carlin Torres and Gloria G. Torres in Killeen, TX. He was an Elgin High School Class of 87 graduate. Michael began his career as an H-E-B associate, then went on to work for Dell Computers. His hobbies included: Being surrounded by his friends and family. Dancing and cutting up. Mikey loved and appreciated a good homemade meal with some ‘torts.’ He loved his fruit salad, peanut butter clusters and chocolate covered cherries at holiday time. He enjoyed every bit of time he had raising and loving his beautiful daughter and watching her grow into a beautiful hearted young woman. Michael is survived by his Mother Gloria G. Torres, his daughter Ana-Lisa M. Torres. Sisters Kathy M. Torres and Deborah Y. Torres and brother Joshua C. Torres. Nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. Michael is preceded in death by: His father Carlos C. Torres and his baby sister Christian ‘Christy’ T. Rodriguez.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. A private interment will follow at a later time.

The family would like to express their gratitude and sincere thanks to the entire staff at Scott & White Dialysis Center in Round Rock, Ascension Seton Williamson for all of their care during Michael’s stay as well as the wonderful staff at San Gabriel Rehabilitation and Care Center.
