Maria Guadalupe Ramirez

Maria Guadalupe Ramirez, 80, died peacefully at home in San Antonio, Texas, on Tuesday, March 9, 2021.

Maria was born in Taylor, Texas, on December 29, 1940, to Frank Perez and Anastasia Buentello.  Maria grew up in Taylor, Texas. For over 35 years, she was married to Raymond Lozano Ramirez, who predeceased her in January, 2002.  Maria was a homemaker and mother to her three sons.  Maria loved to watch her Novelas and spending time chatting with her sisters.

Maria is survived by her sons Raymond and spouse Donna, Marcus and spouse Julie; and Anthony.  Maria has three granddaughters, Anastasia, Autumn Rae and Athena Marie. Maria is also survived by her sisters Inez Perez and Maggie Alvarado. Maria was predeceased by her parents and her siblings Janie Brock, Cookie Tovar, Mary Dominguez, twin brothers Jessie and Tony Perez and Stella Cervantes.

A visitation will be held 5:00-8:00 PM Thursday, March 11, 2021, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home Chapel with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM. A Celebration of Mass Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Friday, March 12, 2021, Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Elgin Latin Cemetery.
