Margarito Reyes Calderon Sr.

Margarito Reyes Calderon, age 53, of Granger, Texas passed away Monday, August 6, 2018.

Margarito was born in Durango City, Mexico to Manuel De Jesus Calderon Gonzales and Veneranda Calderon Reyes on October 18, 1964. He worked for Georgetown ISD for over 20 years. He enjoyed drinking and fishing with his grandchildren under a bridge near granger. Margarito loved the outdoors, just sitting outside and soaking up the fresh air or watering in his garden and feeding his chickens. Margarito was a very welcoming man and loved life. He also enjoyed to cook, dance, play music, sing and tell his mysterious stories. Mostly of his Sundays with family and grandchildren. He loved to stop by every morning and after work to visit his son Jr. and have long talks.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents and four siblings.

Margarito is survived by his wife Maria Yrene Calderon, four children; Rosemary Salazar and husband Fidensio Jr., Ramona Calderon, Margarito Jr. Calderon and wife Nolesa, and Yolanda Calderon, two step-children; Christina Rojas and husband Luis Sr., and Ramon Avila and wife Mari, as well as twenty one grandchildren and twelve siblings.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Friday, August 10, 2018 Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 11, 2018 Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, Granger TX. Interment to follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery.
