Manuel M. Orozco

Manuel M. Orozco, age 82, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, April 25, 2017. Manuel was born to Pablo and Natividad (Maldonado) Orozco on April 11, 1935 in Somerville, TX. January 10, 1965 he married Janie Muniz of Elgin, TX. He served in the US Army, and later attended college to study architecture. Manuel worked as a welder and a foreman for many years before retiring in 2000.

He is preceded in death both of his parents, Brothers; Cruz and Leon Orozco, George and Valentin Orozco, Sisters; Ernestine Reyes, Celestina Velasquez.

Manuel is survived by his wife Janie, siblings; Angel Orozco, Agripina Fonseca, Simona Esparza, Matilda Orozco and Timotea Barrera, and many nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday, April 28, 2017 with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. Celebration of Mass Christian Burial will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 29, 2017. Interment to follow at the Elgin Latin Cemetery.
