Manuel V. Guerrero

Manuel Guerrero, age 54, was born in Elgin, Texas on August 29, 1964 and passed on Sunday April 14, 2019. At the young age of 21 he was in a tragic car accident that he never fully recovered from.

His family remembers him best for his kindness, selflessness, and being a genuinely good person. He had this uncanny ability to treat every single person as if they were his favorite person. Manuel always showed a strong love for his family and friends. Being a rocker he was an avid fan of the Who, Journey, and Pink Floyd, and would rock out on his guitar.

When Manuel returned to his eternal home, awaiting him, was his father Moses Guerrero and two of his favorite cousins, Danny and Bobby Quintanilla.

Manuel Guerrero is survived by his mother Obdulia Guerrero his siblings; Martha (Salvador) Gonzalez, Sara Guerrero, Raquel Guerrero, Elizabeth Patlan, Juan Patlan, Rebeca (Daniel) Ramos, Rosalinda (Russ) Weatherly, Stephanie Guerrero, Rocio (Hugo) Rivas, and Raymond (Tori) Guerrero.

The family would like to extend a thanks to the staff at the Walnut Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and to the Silverado Hospice Care for their comfort and care of Manuel.

A Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 16, 2019 Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home with a recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 P.M.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 17, 2019 Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment to follow at the Elgin Latin Cemetery.
