Luisa Maria Torres, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Elgin, Texas, on January 17, 2025. She was born on January 2, 1983, in Austin, Texas, and lived a life filled with joy, love, and an unwavering dedication to her family and friends.

Luisa dedicated many years of her professional life to OnePointe Solutions, where she excelled as the Shipping and Receiving Lead. Her colleagues admired her fun personality and strong work ethic, which made her a treasured member of the team. She brought laughter and a spirit of camaraderie to the workplace, leaving an imprint on those lucky enough to have worked alongside her. 

She completed her high school education in Elgin, Texas, where she made lifelong memories and friendships that shaped her extraordinary character. Luisa held her family close to her heart and cherished every moment spent with them. She had a passion for spending time with loved ones, sharing laughter, and creating a warm environment filled with love.

An avid music lover, Luisa delighted in the thrill of different genres. She was also a diehard Dallas Cowboys supporter, cheering for her team win or lose. Luisa found joy in the little things and spread happiness to everyone around her. 

She is survived by her loving mother, Gloria Gonzalez, and father, Demetrio Gonzalez. Luisa's legacy continues through her sisters, Silvia Huerta(Gilbert) and Karina Gonzalez, and her brothers, Manuel Zuniga(Alannah) and Demetrio Gonzalez Jr(Siara). She was a cherished aunt, who loved her nephews and nieces as her own, including Llysia, Manuel, Mario, Jacob, Joshua, Justin, Neomi, Khaliyah, Demetrio III, Nathalia, Nea, Kamilah, Nhayeli, Xiomara and Manuel Jr. Her great nephews and nieces, Ares, Jaylene, Mila and Nick, will also carry her spirit forward in their hearts.

Luisa was blessed to also have a best friend, Brandi Hernandez, who stood by her side through thick and thin. Their friendship was a testament to the bonds Luisa formed throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her cherished Grandma Petra Gonzalez and her Aunt Sylvia Northrup. They, along with the countless memories they created together, will forever remain a part of Luisa’s loving spirit.

The visitation service for Luisa Torres will be held on Sunday January 26, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Providence - Jones Family Funeral Home in Elgin, Texas. Eulogy will begin at 6:00PM followed by a rosary. As we gather to celebrate Luisa's remarkable life, let us hold tight to the memories of laughter and love that she generously shared with us all.
