Lucius Hill Sr.

Lucius Hill, Sr., was born in Austin, Texas on September 24, 1936 to Josephine Hill and David C. Hill

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers David, Tommy, and Coup, Sister Marie and daughter Sharon. February 16, 1965 he united in holy matrimony to Pearlie Shepard Hill and with this union two children were born, Sharon and Lucius, Jr., He worked at St. Edwards University for many years until his retirement, after he located to Elgin he united with Pleasant Bethany Baptist Church and remained a member until his homecoming.  He loved his children, grandkids, and great grand-child and most of all he loved making walking canes out of sticks, and making friends along the way.

“Precious Memories” he leaves to cherish his wife Pearlie Shepard Hill, (3) three sons Larry, Cecil, and  Preston (San Angelo, TX) and Lucius Jr., (Wanda) Five grandchildren: Joel, Lucius Lavon, Brittany, Kiara, and Donna and one great- grand child.
