The sun rose May 11, 1968, a baby girl named
Kerri Lynette Bargsley
of Houston, Texas, was born to Mr. and Mrs. Bargsley, the family was blessed with one girl and two boys.
Kerri
attend public school in Austin, TX. She graduated from William B. Travis High in 1987, made her home in Bastrop, TX for the remainder of her life.
Kerri
was united in Holy Matrimony to
Gerald Washington of Bastrop, TX
, on June 4, 1994, and to this union two children were born. God blessed the family together with a total of four children,

Brief History of Her Home Life:
Kerri
was full of Life and Energy; she had an infectious smile that would brighten anyone’s day. Kerri was a people person and went out of her way to help any family in need, extremely selfless. Kerri displayed Love for her family and was a blessing to behold, she spent quality time with her family. She gave everyone in her circle attention and affection that could not be measured and likewise her family, children, grandchildren, and her one and only true love, her husband
Gerald
, all who held her dearly. Like many people attempt to achieve, she was a true Inspiration to anyone she came in contact with. Most of all she knew who was in control of her life, she posted on Facebook, “I’m in need of Prayers;” “I’m going in for surgery.”
Kerri
knew God will hear and answer prayer with any situation.
Community Outreach:
Kerri
was very talented in creating things; she made knitted blankets and caps for her nieces and nephews, and other children in the neighborhood.
Kerri
was a special young lady, willing to give, she made over 100 masks in the beginning of the Pandemic for the First Responders of Bastrop County, Texas. She also contributed her services in the Community of Bastrop TX; she was involved with her children’s school activities as a Bastrop High School Cheerleader Parent, Bastrop High School Band Booster Parent, she worked at the
Bastrop ISD
as a bus driver, and a medical assistant at Bastrop County Sheriff’s Office, and worked as a housewife and mother.
Kerri
was preceded in death by her father, mother, grandparents, mother-in-law, and a brother-in-law.

A Viewing will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Clearview Cemetery in Bastrop, Texas.
