Kenneth Hunter

Kenneth Allen Hunter, age 59, went to be with the Lord on January 21,2021.  Kenneth was born February 9, 1961 in Fort Worth, Texas.  He grew up in Elgin Texas, where he graduated High School in 1979.  Using his artistic talents, he studied architectural drafting in college.   He had several occupations but enjoyed his time as a security guard the most.

Kenneth will be remembered for his upbeat personality, telling silly jokes and sharing funny stories.  He regularly called to check on loved ones, making sure they were doing well.   He enjoyed watching comedy shows, sports and wearing a cap from his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys.

Kenneth is survived by his parents Jimmy and Dorothy Campbell, sister Kathryn Turner, brother in law Mike Turner, sister Laura Campbell and her fiancé Brian Hall, five nieces, two great nieces and four great nephews.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his biological father Dudley Hunter as well as his maternal grandparents Ruby and Robert Pharis.

A visitation will be held 1:00-2:15 PM Tuesday, January 26, 2021, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home with Graveside  Services following at 2:30 PM at the Speir Cemetery, near Elgin.
