Karen Evelyn Kaliss

Karen Evelyn Kaliss-Taylor, 74, of Elgin, TX gained her wings and was reunited with her son, Frank, on Wednesday, May 11, 2022. She was born August 30, 1947, in Southington, Connecticut to the late Henry and Myrtle Kaliss.

Karen affectionally known as KK was a master at acquiring hobbies. She enjoyed doll house making, embroidering, and indoor permaculture. She also reaped the benefits of quiet time while reading a book by her favorite author, Stephen King. KK also made the best French toast!

Those left to cherish her memories are beloved husband, Gary Taylor, of Elgin; her sons, Anthony and Robert, of Waterbury, Conn.; 5 grandchildren; Cathy, her dear sister-in-law, a sister, niece, and nephews; 2 stepchildren; and her best friend, Polly.

As per request by Karen, a private ceremony by the seashore will be held at a later date.
