Justus Harding

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our son, Justus Reed Harding, in Austin, Texas, on November 25, 2024. He was 38 years old, born in Austin on February 16, 1986. He spent most of his life growing up in Hutto, Texas. Justus loved music, the outdoors, and animals—especially his cats and dogs—and he had a special fondness for reptiles. He was always raising his iguanas and bearded dragons. He cherished family gatherings, especially during the holidays.

He is survived by his parents, Randy and Brenda Harding; sisters Danica Reece and her husband James, Eliza Gonzalez and her husband Matthew; paternal grandparents Walter and Yvonne Harding; his son, Aiden Christopher Harding, who filled his heart with light; and the love of his life, Millie Goynes. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, three nieces (with one on the way), and many friends.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Dana and Fran Browning, and many aunts and uncles from Texas and Mississippi.

The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, which has been almost overwhelming. Justus was deeply loved and knew that he was loved by God. His faith was strong. Special thanks to the Salvation Army in Austin, where he found support and friendships during important times of his life.
