March 12, 1969 — January 23, 2021

Junior Wray Serl, age 52, was born in Elgin, Texas, on March 12, 1969, and passed away peacefully on January 23, 2021, at home with family after being diagnosed with Stage 4 Lymph Node Melanoma Cancer in March 2019.  It was a difficult time, but he never gave up!

Junior enjoyed participating in a bowling league, where he was a part of the King Minus team.  Junior met Debi at Showplace Lanes during league on June 1, 2000.  Weeks later, they knew it was love and married on June 26, 2000.

Junior and wife, Debi, visited the Texas Renaissance Festival every fall since 2000, attending the King's Feast and wine tasting, where he'd bring home a beer stein to add to his collection.  Junior enjoyed reading, playing Ingress, and was an active member of The Seventh Day Adventist Church in Bastrop.  He worked for Hard Target Systems for almost 20 years.

Junior Wray Serl was a husband, father, son, brother, uncle, grandfather, and great grandfather.  He was a friend to many and will be missed dearly. His family was his greatest accomplishment.
