Jose Antonio Torres

Jose Antonio Torres, age 51, of Elgin, Texas passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019.

Jose was born in Mexico to Maria R. Castaneda and Sergio Morales on January 18, 1968. He graduated High School in Mexico and moved to the US on August 19, 1986 were he met and married Leonor Gonzalez on August 6, 1989. Jose was employed for 30 years with Sheraton Hotel/HEI. He loved diesel trucks and enjoyed cook outs with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife Leonor, sons; Sergio Torres and Joe A. Torres, daughter Elizabeth Torres, daughter-in-law Verenise Torres, mother Maria Castaneda and father Sergio Morales. He is also survived by his siblings Angela Morales, Abdon Morales, sister-in-law Vicenta Perez, his nieces and nephews; Juan, Angel, and Yaretzi Rodriguez, Kata, Abdon Jr., and Julie Morales, and many aunts and uncles.

A visitation will be held from 6:30-8:00 P.M. with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Friday, March 8, 2019, at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. Celebration of Mass Christian burial will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 9, 2019, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the St. Peters Church Cemetery. Following the burial the family will have a reception at the Sheraton Austin Hotel at the Capital, 701 E 11 ^th St. Austin, TX 78701- Ballroom A-D
