Jose L. Guerrero, Jr.

Jose L. Guerrero, Jr., age 80, of Elgin, Texas, passed away on December 5, 2021.

Jose was born on June 8, 1941, in San Angelo, Texas to Jose L. Guerrero, Sr. and Rita Guerrero. He served in the US Army. Jose enjoyed fishing, was a maintenance worker, and worked at Wal Mart the past six years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Rosalinda Guerrero, his second wife, Cipriana (Ann) Guerrero, and his sons, Gabriel Guerrero and Victor Manuel Guerrero.

Jose is survived by his sons, Joe Guerrero (Lillian) and Daniel Guerrero (Rosemary), his daughters, Rita Herrera and MaryAnn Guerrero, his brothers, Marcos Guerrero and David Guerrero, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Elgin Latin Cemetery.
