Jonathan Mcclendon

Jonathan Layne McClendon, affectionately known as Jon10, has bid his final farewell on November 13, 2023, in Austin, Texas, at the age of 47. Born on April 20, 1976, in Taylor, Texas, Jonathan was a true conversational maestro who could charm the socks off anyone. He didn't just collect antiques; he had a knack for amassing more than anyone thought humanly possible! His love for all things vintage was truly unmatched.

Jonathan is survived by his parents, Chuck and Karen McClendon, his sister Stephanie McConnell (Steven McConnell), his brother Nicholas McClendon (Jessica McClendon), and his sons Alan and Kayden McClendon. He was a beloved longtime companion to Kerri Brown. A bonus dad to Ashley, Starla, and Tiffany with his former wife Tammy who he cherished as his own. Jonathan also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Dolores McClendon, Chester and Lucille Newman, as well as his aunts Janis Hehman and Cynthia Newman.

A small graveside service will be held at Elgin Cemetery in Elgin, Texas, for family and friends to come together and pay their respects to Jonathan. For those who wish to honor his memory, a scholarship fund is being set up for his boys through a GoFundMe account. Contributions can be made to support their education and future endeavors.
