Jon Randall Moore

Jon Randall Moore entered the world as “The First Baby of 1957” January 1st, 1957 in Orange, Texas to Myrtice & Robert Moore. He was raised in the “Golden Triangle”. His life was cut short after a brief illness and he left this world on January 25th, 2024.

He moved to Austin from the Houston area in 1984. He worked in commercial & residential construction for years. Randy loved building things & tinkering with little inventions, boating, fishing and riding motorcycles. He was a kind man and always helped anyone that needed it. His sense of humor was great! He was excited to be having his first grandchild very soon. He will be missed by many.

Jon was preceded in death by his mother, Myrtice M. Moore and his brother, Larry D. Moore.

Jon is survived by his father, Robert W. Moore, a sister, Mitzi Stevens (Mark), a brother Charles Moore (Mary Jo), his only son, Zachary Moore, soon to be daughter in law, Kendyl Pipkin, his former wife, Marty Moore, a stepdaughter Kaitlyn Canady and former wife Kellie Canady, along with many nephews, great nieces & great nephews.

A special thanks to Kendyl for the countless hours she spent at the hospital with him along with others in the family.

A celebration of life will be held in the future.
