Jimmy John Skrhak

Jimmy John Skrhak, born December 9th, 1961, passed away peacefully on January 3rd, 2025.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, January 13, 2025, Oak Hill Cemetery on Oak Hill Cemetery Rd, Bastrop. Please join the family for visitation from 5:00-7:00 PM, Sunday, January 12th in the Chapel of Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home

Jimmy is survived by his beloved son, Jordan Skrhak, and daughter-in-law, Katie Skrhak, as well as his son Justin Skrhak. He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren, Karter, Lilly, and Grace Skrhak. Jimmy is also survived by his sisters, Vanessa Genova, Deannie Crim, Theresa Adari, Dianne Foster and his brother Jerry Skrhak Jr., along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jimmy was a man who found joy in the simple things in life. Whether fishing, pulling pranks, or working the ranch, he was a true lover of the details that made life special. Above all, Jimmy cherished his family and took great pride in reminding his loved ones of how much he loved them. He was a hardworking rancher who taught his sons nearly everything they knew - from driving tractors to managing cattle. When he wasn’t working, you could find him praying, always finding peace in his faith.

Jimmy’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend, and will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
