Jesus Estala Mata

Jesus Estala-Mata (Chaca) age 61, of Manor, Texas passed away on May 11, 2018

Jesus was born on April 13, 1957 in Lampazos N.L. to Lenor Mata and Marcial Estala.

He was a former City of Austin employee for 12 years, where he retired due to his illness.

Jesus is preceded in death by both his parents, his brothers Alfredo Estala and Leonardo Estala, brother-in-laws Roberto Araujo and Joe Silvas, sister in law Judy Silvas, and nephew Jonathon Mendosa.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years Janet Estala, son’s; Jesus Estala Jr. and wife Jessica of Manor, TX., Damian Estala and wife Vanessa of Buda, TX., Alex Estala and wife Norma of Manor, TX., and Marcial Estala of Manor, TX. He is also survived by his siblings; Antonio Estala and wife Zapopa of San Antonio, TX., Aurelio Estala and wife Petra of Lampazos, San Juana Araujo of San Antonio, TX., Jose Luis Estala and wife Lupe of Laredo, TX., Alvaro Estala and wife Ma de La Luz of Lampazos, and Armando Estala of Lampazos. As well as Sister-in-law’s Jean Tovar and husband Bernardino of Austin, TX., and Angela Silvas of Pflugerville, TX., his eleven grandchildren; Natalie, Melanie, Kiara, Cesar, Thomas, Daisy, Lelah, Ymadalyn, Anaise, Maximo, and Cyliana and many nieces and nephews.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be greatly missed by all.

A visitation will be Held 6:00-8:00 PM Friday May 18, 2018, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home, with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM Saturday May 19, 2018, Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Elgin Latin Cemetery.
