Jeanette Aline Gruetzner, 84, went to her heavenly home on Friday January 11 th . Jeanette was born in Austin, Texas on March 29, 1934, the daughter of Ivan and Annie Mae Campbell.
Jeanette married the love of her life, Robert “Bobby” Gruetzner on July 10, 1951. They were married for 63 years, and spent their lives providing a loving home for their family of three children, six grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Jeanette, also known as “Mamaw,” was an “angel on earth” to her family. She was kind to everyone she met, and she never said a negative word about anyone. Mamaw loved her church, spending time with her family and friends, doing yard work, and feeding others.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Felton Campbell, her sister Marie Campbell Cross, her daughter Susan Gruetzner Fromme, and her husband Bobby.
She is survived by her son Duane Gruetzner, her daughter Dianna Gruetzner Prinz, and son-in-law Edgar Prinz Jr.; grandchildren Melinda Zoch and husband Bryan, Scott Prinz and wife Jennifer, Craig Fromme and wife Ami, Jenny Stone and husband Jarrod, Ryan Fromme and wife Codie, Erik Prinz and wife Jennifer;
great-grandchildren Mayo and Maison Williamson, Cole Davis, B.J. and Faith Zoch, Tyler, Gage and Taylor Prinz, Grace, Gunnar and Gatlin Fromme, Ryan Lane Fromme, and Kennedy Prinz; along with other loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held Monday January 14, 2019 at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 15, 2019 at Grace Lutheran Church in Elgin at 11:00 a.m. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to Grace Lutheran Church in Elgin.
