Jean (Arlis) Mccrea

August 31, 1937 — April 22, 2021

Arlis Jean Ogburn-McCrea, age 83, of Lago Vista, Texas, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, April 22, 2021, after being diagnosed with lung cancer in 2019.

Jean was born August 31, 1937, in Enid, Oklahoma, the daughter of Arlie Miles Ogburn and Lillian Ruth Spaulding-Ogburn. She married Walter Ford Bingman on December 9, 1957. He passed away on September 2, 1972.  She married David Norton McCrea on August 6, 1973.  He passed away on July 31, 1986.  She was preceded in death by both parents, her brother Thomas “Tommy” Ogburn and her son Jerry McCrea.

Jean is survived by her children, Debby (Ron) Hilliard, Cynthia (Ivan) Ross-Smith, Kenneth “Kinny” Bingman and Terry McCrea; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Jean is remembered for her loving devotion to her family, for her love of the Lord, her animals, and the great outdoors.  Also, she is remembered for her famous homemade noodles!

Services will be held at The Church on the Hill, 19100 Ranch Road 1431, Jonestown, Texas, ( www.churchonthehilljonestown.com ) on Saturday, May 1 st , 2021 with Brother Kevin Donahue officiating.  Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Open Casket) and service will begin at 3:30 p.m.

Burial Services will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery, 6405 Memorial Drive, Enid, Oklahoma, Garden Chapel, on Monday, May 3 rd , 2021, at 2:00 p.m.
