Javier Vazquez Sr.

Javier Vázquez, 66, of Elgin Texas passed away September 18, 2023, with his family by his side. He was born in Mexico City, Mexico to his parents Jose and Otilia Vazquez.

Javier worked as a Supervisor at Pedro SS Services in Austin, Texas and was known by his colleagues for his tireless energy. He was known for big kind heart always willing to give a hand to those in need.

His hobbies included gardening, farm life, traveling, movies, time with family at the lake or beach and spending time with his grandchildren.

Javier is survived by his wife, Maria Luisa Martinez of Elgin, Texas, children, Sylvia Avila and husband Rene, Jaime Vazquez and wife Jackie, Javier Vazquez and wife Ellen. Grandchildren, Israel, Isabel, Isaac, Eloy, Ivan, Ilyana, Rene Jr, Enrique, Oliver, and Luna. Brother and Sisters; Maria, Caritina, Arturo, Graciela, Silvia; many nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

Javier especially will be remembered for being the greatest Grandfather. +

A visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Monday, September 25, 2023, at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM. Celebration of Mass Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
