James Dean Gardner

James Dean Gardner, age 59, of Elgin, Texas passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018.

James was born at Brackenridge Hospital in Austin, TX on January 2, 1959 to Jimmie and Jewel Gardner.

He is preceded in death by his father, step-father Jerry Tomlin and brother Jackie Wayne Gardner.

James is survived by his wife Penny, two children; Christopher Garcia and wife Amanda LeGay, and Shawna Gardner and fiancé Aaron Swift, and his five grandchildren; Xavier, Zoe, Elaina, Robin and Dakota. He is also survived by his mother Jewel Tomlin, brother Shawn Gardner, and four sisters; Joyce Milam and husband John, Julie Galindo, Penny Rivera and husband Carlos Rodriguez, and Melody Horvitich, and his dear friends; Resa, Ginger, Wanda and Mark.

A Celebration of James’ Life will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 24, 2018 Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. Interment to follow at the Lawhon Springs Cemetery where he will be laid to rest next to his brother Jackie and Father Jimmie Gardner.
