Howard Chester Miller

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Howard C. Miller at the age of 61, who died on April 13, 2018, with his family by his side.  A graveside service will be held at the Old Red Rock Cemetery (156 Wilson Rd) in Red Rock, Texas  at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 17, 2018.  Directly following the service we will be gathering to celebrate the life of Howard at 2275 Highway 304, Smithville, Texas 78967.

Howard will be loving remembered by his wife, Tracie Miller, of 37 years, and his children, Alesha Goertz, Britney Williams, and Brandy Sample.  Howard will also be fondly remembered by his seven grandchildren, Wyatt, Luke, Brooke, Bodie, Avery, Bailey and Sterling.  Forever remembered by his sisters Margie Henderson and Peggy Young.  Howard was predeceased by his sister Diana Harris.

Howard attended Bastrop High School where he enjoyed sports, showing live stock, and spending time with friends.  Howard enjoyed providing for his family by working as a steel erector, welder, and worked in oilfield services.  Fun in his life consisted of hunting, fishing, grilling, and spending quality time with his family. He will always be loved and remembered as a hard worker.
