Henry Ludwig, Sr., 76, a lifelong resident of Austin, TX went to meet his maker August 30, 2020 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. Henry was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on September 12, 2020 at 4811 Nixon Lane, which was Henry’s long-time home.
Henry was born to Raymond, Sr. and Mary Alice on December 1, 1943. He went to school at Pecan Springs Elementary, University Junior High School, and Austin High School. He married Joan Ludwig on May 15, 1964 in Manor. He worked as a skilled front-end mechanic for Bethke Brake Service for 30 years. He was a veteran and served in the United States Army. He was involved with the Delwood Optimist Club in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents. Henry is survived by his wife, Joan Ludwig, children Henry Ludwig, Jr. and wife Susan, Kimberly Weimann and husband, Michael, Mark Ludwig and wife Linda, Tammy Ludwig, his brothers Robert and Raymond, Jr., sister Betty Flentge, grandchildren Chelsea, Henry, III., Cameron, Morgan, Ciarra, MaKenna, Mason, Kayla, and Jaxon and great grandsons Henry, IV., and Legend, as well as, numerous nephews and nieces.
