Hadley Scott Thompson

Hadley Scott Thompson, age 68, of Elgin, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 1, 2024.

Born on July 5, 1956, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Hadley served honorably in the Air Force as an X-ray technician. Following his military service, he dedicated many years to working for the Elgin and Manor School Districts as a shop foreman. Hadley was also a proud member of the Patriot Guard and had a deep passion for hunting, riding Harleys, and smoking some of the best brisket around.

Hadley is survived by his loving wife, Laura Thompson; his daughter, Hayley Thompson Bauser; his grandson, Oliver Bauser; and a host of other family members and friends. His warmth, generosity, and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of Hadley's life will be held at a later date. Details will be provided to family and friends.
