Gregory “Greg” Alan Williams-Albert, an optician from Austin, TX died unexpectedly on October 25, 2020 at the age of 58 while enjoying his usual Sunday ride on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
Greg was born in Chula Vista, CA on June 12, 1962 to John R. Williams and Rosalie “Joy” Viera-Miller. He worked his whole life in optics where he loved giving people the gift of sight. Greg spent most of his days off working on his Camaro SS or riding his Harley in between screaming at the Dallas Cowboys or Ohio State Buckeyes playing football and grilling outside. He served in the U.S. Air Force from July 1979- December 1980.
He is survived by his mother; his siblings, Sherri Lease (FL), Todd and Jackie Albert (OH), Heather and Garrick Gehrke (OH), Tim and Robin Williams (CA), Melissa and Herman Riddle (AZ), Roger and Lori Gamble (IN), and Deborah Williams (CA); his children, Kristi Balderas-Arevalo (Edward and Andrew) (CA), Tiffany Williams and Albert Miller (Jaxton) (TX), Brittany and Michael Albert (Oakley and Edison) (OH), David Williams and Kirstin Pickett (Aleahya and Braylen) (OH), and Courtnie Williams and Aaron Schlosser (Braxton, Corbin, Caiden) (OH); and many nieces and nephews all across the states.
He is predeceased by all his grandparents, his father and two sisters (Jennifer Gibson and Demaris Lindsey).
Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 2, 2020 promptly at 9:15am at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, Tx 78209.
