George Joseph Osborne

George Joseph Osborne, age 48 of Elgin, Texas passed away Sunday, September 19, 2021
with his family by his bedside.


George, best known as "Joe" was born February 23, 1973 in Austin, Texas to Julie Ann Cordell
and Douglas Charles Osborne. Joe married his childhood sweetheart Kimberly in September of
1996. They had two beautiful baby boys together.


Joe was employed by All Points Inspection Services in Webberville, Texas, where he worked
side-by-side daily with his youngest son, Elijha. Joe enjoyed relaxing spending time with family
and friends, especially his son, Elijha, and his two beautiful grandchildren, Summer (TOO
SWEET) Marie and Shane (BABY BOY) Andrew Osborne. He will be remembered most for his
big heart and willingness to help anyone that he could, his humorous jokes, and witty charm.


The family would like to recognize and THANK the McDade, Texas and Elgin, Texas first
responders who arrived on scene and worked tirelessly to revive him. You all gave us the
opportunity to see Joe, tell him how much he was loved, and needed by us all, and have that
final farewell. Thank you, thank you, thank you! We can not say it enough!


Joe is preceded in death by both sides of grandparents, his mother, Julie Ann Osborne, and
son, Joseph Shane Osborne.


He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Kaye Osborne, and son, Elijha Osborne and wife Rachael
Mlynarski all of Elgin, Texas; his grandchildren, Summer Marie Osborne and Shane Andrew
Osborne; his daughter-in-law, Megan Osborne Nalley of McDade, Texas; his father’s, Douglas
C. Osborne of Bastrop, Texas and Dad (Pop’s) Tracy Skelton of Elgin, Texas; his sister,
Stephanie Osborne of Elgin, Texas; his brother, Steven Osborne and wife Carla of Elgin, Texas;
his sisters, Christie Love and husband Justin, Lisa Osborne and husband Wes, Allison Osborne
and Sarah Osborne all of Bastrop, Texas; his brothers, Jason Osborne and Micheal Korn of
Bastrop, Texas; his nephews, Randall (RJ) Passell, and Bubba Osborne of Elgin, Texas; his
nieces, Alyssa Leschber and Twyla Jo Osborne of Elgin, Texas, Ericka Osborne and Michelle
Osborne of Bastrop,Texas, Torri Denise Boone of Grand Island, New York, and many many
more nephews and nieces, great nieces and great nephews, and family, and friends who loved
him.


Open viewing to family and friends will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 1:00 p.m
-8:00 p.m. at Providence-Jones Funeral Home in Elgin, Texas.


Services will be held on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at First United Methodist Church of
Bastrop, 1201 Main St. Bastrop, Texas. Interment is immediately following at Fairview Cemetery
in Bastrop, Texas follwed by food and drinks at the church fellowship hall.


Lastly, unfortunately there was no life insurance. If you would like to help the family cover the
costs of final arrangements, you can do so directly to Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home of
Elgin, Texas or contact his son, Elijha Osborne, personally.
