Frank Carl Kaczor, Jr.

Frank Carl Kaczor, Jr., a  resident of Elgin, passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 78. He was born on May 19, 1945, to Viola and Frank Kaczor, who preceded him in death. Frank was also preceded in death by his sister, Mary, and his loving wife, Sondra.

Frank led a remarkable life filled with diverse experiences and meaningful contributions. In his younger years, he proudly served his country as a Marine from 1964 to 1966. Following his military service, Frank dedicated two years of his life to serving the community as a police officer in New Orleans. Later, he found fulfillment as a truck driver in Los Angeles.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Frank was known for his compassion and dedication to helping others. He served as the Representative of Homeless Needs on the board of Advocacy Outreach for several years, making a significant impact on the lives of those in need. His commitment to the well-being of the less fortunate was truly commendable.

Frank's zest for life was infectious, and he cherished the company of his friends. His genuine warmth and friendly nature endeared him to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be deeply missed by his sister, Martha, who resides in Arizona, as well as by numerous friends and acquaintances.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Monday, October 9, at 5:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church. This gathering will provide an opportunity for everyone to honor and remember Frank's remarkable journey, to share stories, and to find solace in one another's company.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Advocacy Outreach, an organization close to Frank's heart, in his memory.

Although Frank may no longer be with us, his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
