Felicia Sharon Miller, age 79, of Bastrop, Texas, passed away on November 21, 2022.
Felicia Sharon Miller was a loving woman, a soulmate to her husband, a kind mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She was a wonderful horse woman known by her community. Sharon was a Christian and talked often to her granddaughter about her faith. She said when it was her time how she would spend eternity with her Savior, Jesus Christ. Sharon is now at peace in Heaven with her Savior.
She was devoted to her family. She had sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, and numerous great grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She watched her grandchildren when they were young. She spent endless hours teaching them to ride, do events, and care for horses. She was dedicated and committed to them. Sharon always had a faithful dog by her side while training and riding. She also enjoyed cooking and planning for her family. She made numerous meals for family and friends to gather around and have wonderful fellowship. She was known for a great pot of stew on a cold night and her hard candy Christmas tree. Her home was always welcome to family and friends.
Sharon’s passions were plants, cross stitching, and animals…especially dogs and horses. Sharon was at her best when she was riding a horse. She trained many horses that won at rodeos and barrel races. Her three youngest great granddaughters are now riding in play days, rodeos, and barrel races and enjoying some of her trained horses that held a special place in her heart, Mr. T and Bully. Her horse training was one of her greatest accomplishments, she had an uncanny ability to reach people through her horse training. Sharon loved dogs and had many of them. They were a very important part of her life but were even more important as companions in her later years. She always had a faithful dog or two by her side. It was easier for her to relate to animals than humans. She had a special gift that she shared with many friends and family through her love for dogs and horses.
She also enjoyed growing and caring for her plants. That gave her many hours of pleasure and contentment. Her rose bushes were some of the prettiest around.
Sharon’s love for life, family, friends, faith, and animals was known to all. Each family member and friend will cherish their own memories and hold them dear to their hearts knowing Sharon is in Heaven with Jesus riding a horse with a faithful dog by her side.
