Ervin Earl Strait Jr.

Ervin Strait Jr. better known as “Lil Babe”, age 67, of Taylor, Texas passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020.

Ervin was born on January 4, 1953 to Lulu Mae Johnson and Earvin Strait Sr. in Taylor, Texas. He attended Taylor Schools and was a lifelong resident of Taylor. He married his sweetheart Epifania Olguin on July 4, 1976. They remained together until his passing and from there union had their one and only daughter Erica Strait. Ervin had artistic skills as he enjoyed drawing and making others laugh and playing the guitar.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Eartha Marie, Theressa, Brenda, brothers; Larry “Ladd”, Robert Sr., L.V., Reese Jr.

Ervin leaves behind his wife Epifania of 44 years, his only daughter Erica and husband Michael Martinez, six grandchildren; Jakob (16), Jeremias and Adrian (15), Braylon (10) and Jaelyn and Jordan (3). He also leaves behind a brother Douglas Strait and wife Jo both of Austin, Texas.

A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday February 4, 2020 Taylor City Cemetery.
