Eric Paul Holtry

In loving memory of Eric Paul Holtry, 55 -- passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his mom, Jerry, his dad, Byron and sister, Vicki.  He is survived by his wife, Katherine; his daughter, Brittani and husband Eric; his grandchild, Zeta; his brother, Brett and wife Elizabeth; his niece, Bailey; his nephews Patrick and Barrett.

Eric was born on April 25, 1962 in Mineral Wells, TX to Byron and Jerry Holtry.  He was raised in Garland, TX.  He graduated from Washington and Lee University, 1985, at Lexington, VA, with a degree in Bachelor of Arts – History.  He raised his family in the Dallas Metroplex until the mid-2000s, when he relocated his family to Austin, TX.  After a long and successful career in the financial services business, Eric went on to receive a seminary education, in which he became ordained.

To celebrate Eric’s life and honor memories shared, his memorial celebration service will be held at 1 PM, Sunday, September 3, 2017, at Williams Funeral Directors, 1600 S Garland Avenue, Garland, TX 75040, PH 972-276-5000.
