Emilio Cantu Paiz

Emilio Cantu Paiz, “Raymond”, age 78, was born in Hebbronville, Texas on September 17, 1942. He passed away on August 27, 2021, in Bastrop, Texas. Raymond was known as “The Best Welder in Texas.”

He is survived by his beloved wife, Ernestina T. Paiz, his children, Lisa P. Anderson (Stephen), Ramon Paiz (Sandra), Oscar Paiz (Tencha), Yvonne Olivares (Steven), Crystal Knight (Michael), and Ana Paiz, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will follow at 11:00 AM at Elgin Latin Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Paul Ybarra, Ignacio Alvarado, Lorenzo Paiz, Oscar Paiz, Brandon Olivares, and Robert Rodriguez.
