Ella Mae Williams, of Elgin, Texas, passed away at Cornerstone Hospital on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the age of 66, with her family by her side. She was born on May 7, 1951 in Hereford, Texas, to Willie J. and Eller V. Wilson. She is the first of seven children. Her siblings are, Willie J. Jr., Billy, Bobby, Anna B., Melody, and Jimmy.
She is survived by her two children, Ernie Williams and his wife Kristy, and Eric Williams and his wife Linda. Her four grandchildren, Dominik Sr. and his wife Brittany, Terrance Sr. and his wife Tareka, Derrill and his wife Natalie, Eric Jr. and his fiancé Duan. Her great grandchildren, Dominik Jr., Kylie, Keenan, Peyton, Tayrin, Terrance Jr. (T-Spoon), Alijah, Aubrey, and Addison.
Miss Ella, as she was known, was a faithful member of The Lord’s Ministry Church for several years, where she became an Associate Pastor. Her dedication to the Lord and to people in general was a main factor in her life. She was a volunteer at Elgin Nursing Home where she would minister to, as well as comfort the residents. She would always arrange Christmas programs and gifts for the residents.
She loved to share Bible scriptures to everyone. She was also a dedicated member of Women’s Bible Study. Her bible was her most favorite book in the world to read. She was also a wonderful cook, and her favorite dish was Dirty Rice. For anyone that didn’t really know her, she was one of the most selfless, kind, and honest people you could ever meet. She would do just about anything for anyone. Her generosity was one of the best characteristics about her.
