Eliud Barrera Cueva Jr.

Our beloved Eliud Barrera Cueva “El Nuno”, 32, from Elgin, Texas, tragically left us on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Dell Seton Hospital in Austin, Texas. Eliud was born on September 17, 1991, to Nely Cueva Barrera and Eliud Cueva Luna in Smithville, Texas.

Eliud was a handyman and could fix just about anything. He was a man of many trades and very talented, but his biggest passion was music. He could play multiple instruments and always chased his dream of making a name for himself in the music industry.

His smile lit any room he walked into and you could be sure you would have many laughs with him around.

Eliud is survived by his daughter, Avery Neliah Cueva, brother, Hector Barrera Cueva, and parents, Nely Cueva Barrera and Eliud Cueva Luna.

A recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elgin, Texas, with burial following at Elgin Latin Cemetery.
