Dominga Cruz

Dominga Gonzalez Cruz, age 100, of Elgin, TX, passed away July 16, 2017.

She was born on April 21, 1917 in Elgin, TX. to Antonio and Margarita Gonzalez.

Dominga is preceded in death by her husband Luis Cruz, both her parents, one child, three siblings, one grandson, one great-grandchild.

She is survived by her children; Patty Galivez of Seguin, TX., Margaret Sanchez of Elgin, TX., Ninfa Castro of Brady, TX., Eddie Cruz (Toni) of Blue, TX., and Josie Paiz (Rick) of Elgin, TX., Twenty Two Grandchildren, Forty Eight Great-Grandchildren, Forty Two Great Great- Grandchildren and Five Great Great Great-Grandchildren.

A visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, July 19, 2017, Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 Pm. Mass Of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM Thursday July 20, 2017, Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Elgin Latin Cemetery.
